Writing/Public Speaking Camp | 3rd-5th
This class offers students an engaging, detailed introduction to the basics of public speaking, along with fundamentals of essay writing (& other forms of writing, too!).
Topics to be discussed include:

How to capture & maintain an audience’s attention

Techniques for remaining calm and focused while speaking
-
Organizational skills for both oral and written presentations
-
Persuasive writing (Thesis, Evidence, & Analysis)
-
Examples of great speeches & essays from historical figures​

Each student will have the opportunity to present their own speech/formal piece of writing to the class. Students will learn technical knowledge, find personal inspiration, and gain confidence in their ability to express themselves through the spoken and written word.

Online Greek Mythology | 4-6th
In this class, students discover why myths were created by many of the world's ancient civilizations, and explore how mythology appears in contemporary literature, film, and other media today. Students explore the art of storytelling, discuss mythology, and examine oral traditions as they experiment with creative performance, and gain a deeper understanding of literary and dramatic themes.
Schedule: 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
SAT Boot Camp
In this results-oriented course, students will learn the most essential strategies for maximizing their scores. Topics include how to handle time pressure, speed reading, multiple choices, and how to identify the common patterns in “trap” answers. All materials are drawn from real SAT tests over the past five years, ensuring accurate and timely information.

F=MA Competition Prep
The F=MA exam, organized by the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT), is a screening test for the US Physics Olympiad (USAPhO) and International Physics Olympiad (IPhO).
F=MA is a prestigious physics competition that has earned a reputation for being quite challenging.
The exam covers a wide range of physics topics you've studied in your classes, like kinematics, mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and modern physics. The questions require you to apply your knowledge creatively to solve complex and multi-step problems.
Our reowned physics teacher, Joseph, will coach with a track record of success!
